The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) is known to us as the cash assistance the government gives to indigent families in the Philippines. Normally, we see them as "just' recipients of the amount the government distributes to be allotted for their family's food and health and for their children's education.
But Cagayan State University at Piat does not see them as "people who wait for the cash assistance." The campus sees them as partners in development.
This is through the "Earn While You Learn" which Dr. Vicente S. Binasoy Jr., campus director for External Affairs, designed to empower the 4Ps beneficiaries.
