Twelve graduates of Cagayan State University College of Medicine and Surgery (CSU-CMS) successfully passed the March 2016 licensure examination for physicians, giving CSU 108.08 (50%-institutional passing percentage/46.26%-national passing percentage) accomplishment rate.
The new doctors are Jennifer P. Aglugub, Carla S. Barsabal, Iverson S. Cruz, Jessa Mea U. Domingo, Rachelle O. Enolva, Rene J. Gonzaga, Christian Vion B. Guzman, Anna Joy A. Maraggun, Manuel J. Molina Jr., Domingo T. Pamittan Jr., Bernadette E. Soriano, and Ronette P. Ibuna.
In the official result released by the Professional Regulations Commission which was published in its website, www.prc.gov.ph, CSU had 24 takers in all, half of whom made it in the circle of passers.
The result indicated that out of 1,044 takers nationwide, only 483 passed the examination given by the Board of Medicine in the cities of Baguio, Manila and Cebu.
A graduate from the Southwestern University Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine emerged as top 1 among those who garnered the 10 highest places in the said examination.
CSU-CMS, one of the top 10 performing medical schools in the Philippines, is located at CSU Carig Campus, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City.
