CSU- College of Law produces 9 new lawyers

The Cagayan State University College of Law announced on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 that nine of its graduates passed the 2015 Bar Examinations held in November 2015 at the University of Sto. Tomas.

The new CSU Athena lawyers are Atty. April Rose Banatao, Atty. Julius Busway, Atty. Sofia Enriquez-Matote, Atty. John Vincent Ferrer, Atty. Maria Paula Gaspar, Atty. Atty. Monchito Matias, Atty. Marvin Pascua, Atty. Jefferson Sto. Tomas and Atty. Tshaine Taguinod-Maggay.

The school passing rate based on the record of the college is 18.75 percent, while the national passing percentage is 26.21.

The passing grade was kept at 75%, with no adjustments made.

Last year, the bar passing grade was lowered to 73%.
