The University conferred to the 6,323 graduates their respective degrees and titles in a solemn ceremony held in the different campuses on separate dates.
The number of graduates this year increased by 4.33% when compared to last year’s 6,049.
CSU is blessed this year because it had no less than Senate President Franklin Drilon as guest speaker in the 37th Academic Convocation for the Conferment of Degrees and Titles at Carig Campus on April 8, 2015, 2 p.m., at the Red Eagle Gymnasium.
The other guest speakers invited to grace the most important event in the lives of the graduates from 70 academic programs included Court of Appeals Associate Justice Ramon Paul L. Hernando (Law, April 14), MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino (Gonzaga, April 11), MMDA General Manager Corazon T. Jimenez (Andrews, April 10), and Sec. Manuel Mamba (Piat and Aparri, April 9).
CSU Lasam and CSU Sanchez Mira held their Academic Convocation for the Conferment of Degrees and Titles on April 11, 2015 and April 10,2015, respectively.
Aparri conferred degrees to 721 graduates; Carig had 1,353; Gonzaga, 311; Lal-lo, 377; Lasam, 134; Sanchez Mira, 705; and Andrews, 2,353.
