The Office of the Student Welfare and Development (OSSW) sponsored on Dec. 10 this year’s University Leadership Seminar participated in by 94 student leaders from the eight campuses that make up the University.
Held at the CSU Andrews Amphitheater, the seminar themed “Blazing Beyond Boarders - the CSUans Leadership” had a speaker who is known in the field of student affairs.
Presenting in the morning, former Far Eastern University Student Affairs Director Dr. Henry Mata on a personal note gave the participants some pieces of advice on they can become true and responsible leaders.
On a corporate level, he explained to the participants the importance of adopting themselves with the developments happening in the South East Asian community.
He ended his talk by sharing his wisdom on how to become globally competent public servants.
A cultural event at night capped the activity which was also attended by campus OSSW coordinators and organization advisers.
OSSW Director Editha Pagulayan said the seminar is yet another accomplishment toward the school’s efforts for continuous improvement.
“We never stop from our previous best, even if we do this every year,” said Pagulayan.
