                                                                       Aside from propagating different varieties of bamboo, the campus
                                                                       has also ventured in developing bamboo-based products.



                                                                       The  bamboo  ketchup  is  one  of  the  pioneer  bamboo-based
                                                                       products with Intellectual Property Rights registration produced

                                                                       in CSU Gonzaga. It was developed by Dr. Elvira Masferre Sana,
                                                                       former  dean  of  the  College  of  Hospitality  Management.  The
                                                                       bamboo springroll by Dr. Romar Banadero and Gladys Olivas
                                                                       is also registered for Utility Model.  Other faculty members also
                                                                       developed other products out of bamboo including the Pinbong

                                                                       (pinya  and  labong)  candy  by  Prof.  Mae Angelica  Sinco  and
                                                                       Bambootido by Prof. Shiena Marie Gaño.
