INSPIRING FEAT: CSU LASAM CELEBRATES FIRST SPLE TOPNOTCHER

Hard work, determination, and true CSU pride came together in a historic moment as Era Joy Agoot, a Bachelor of Elementary Education graduate from CSU Lasam, secured 10th place in the June 2025 Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for Professional Teachers – Elementary Level.

Scoring an impressive 83.60%, Agoot, a proud member of Batch 2019, etched her name in university history as CSU Lasam’s first-ever SPLE topnotcher.

Meanwhile, CSU also celebrates the commendable performance of its other campuses, including CSU Aparri and CSU Andrews, whose examinees likewise exemplified excellence in the 2025 SPLE.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 181 out of 325 examinees (55.69%) passed the elementary level.

Since its inception in 1997, the SPLE has empowered qualified Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to obtain professional licenses abroad, enhancing their competitiveness in the global labor market without the need to return home.
