To honor Cagayan State University’s fresh batch of Certified Public Accountants, a Testimonial Dinner was held at CSU Hotel Function Hall last November 8, 2019.
The nine new Certified Public Accountants were given a plaque of recognition for passing the October 2019 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination, thereby bringing honor and prestige to the University. The honorees also shared their success stories that led to achieving this milestone to the crowd.
University President Urdujah Tejada, through her speech read by Vice President Mariden Cauilan, congratulated the new CPAs for rising above the occasion and for accepting the challenge with grit and perseverance to journey on to the finish line. She also thanked the members of the faculty of the College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy under the strong leadership of Dean Antonia Josefa A. Taguinod for their commitment to excellence.
CSU registered a passing rate of 40.91% during the October 2019 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination, which is significantly higher than the national passing rate of 14.32%.
