The SEZ Institute Council conducted its First Regular Meeting for the Establishment of the Special Economic Zone Institute that targets to realize a locally-positioned promotion strategy for export in Cagayan. The members of the council gathered for the initial briefing of the Technical Working Group (TWG) on the roles and synergy strategies between Cagayan State University and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).
The Council is composed of CSU and PEZA officials that include President Urdujah Alvarado as the Vice Chairperson for Planning and Development, while the University Vice Presidents take the lead as Regional TWG leaders. The meeting is also attended by Chairperson Neilbert G. Gajudo and Vice Chairperson for Administration and Industrial Affairs Allan P. Datahan from PEZA.
The SEZ Institute aims to make CSU a hub of education in the global entrepreneurial field by setting up special economic zones in the province which will render industry-ready graduates and shall further boost the local industries to be globally competitive.
