Cagayan State University - Carig Campus, in collaboration with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 02, conducted a two-day review and assessment of its three programs including BS Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering, BS Geodetic Engineering, and BS Architecture, December 11-12, 2024.
These programs under the College of Engineering and Architecture will be evaluated in different areas - program administration, faculty, curriculum, library, research, student services, laboratory and other facilities, and community extension initiatives.
CSU OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez expressed his full support for the initiative and gratitude to the evaluators, highlighting the importance of collaboration and compliance with CHED requirements. "This is part of our collaboration, and we are looking forward to learning from your best practices while sharing ours," he said.
The activity aimed to secure the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC), ensuring that the programs meet quality standards set by CHED. The Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT), is chaired by CHED Region 02 and composed of representatives from Saint Mary’s University, Isabela State University (Echague and Ilagan Campuses), Nueva Vizcaya State University, and University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao.
