By Office of the University President | December 12, 2024 |

Cagayan State University (CSU), under the leadership of OIC President Arthur G. Ibañez, and Isabela State University (ISU), headed by President Ricmar P. Aquino, have officially entered into a groundbreaking partnership for research collaboration.

Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus, through the College of Teacher Education (CTE), initiated the first research collaboration. Key CSU-developed tools, such as the Research Capability Test (RCT), Research Capability Rubric (RCR), and Research Self-Efficacy Scale (RSES), will be leveraged to assess and elevate the research competencies of teacher educators in Region 02.

Meanwhile, Cagayan State University - Aparri Campus has forged a separate MOU to advance the discipline of fisheries, covering areas such as aquaculture, capture fisheries, aquatic resources and ecology, and postharvest fisheries.

The agreement, formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), was signed on December 12, 2024, at the CSU Andrews Conference Hall.
