MARKING MILESTONES: CSU ANDREWS CELEBRATES GATE 3 BLESSING AND NEW COFFEE SHOP LAUNCH

Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus held a dual event yesterday, December 12, 2024, marking the blessing of its newly completed Gate 3 and the official opening of its brand-new coffee shop.

The construction of Gate 3, envisioned during the term of former CSU President Dr. Urdujah A. Tejada and completed under OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, strategically enhances campus accessibility. Located beside the CSU Hotel, the new entryway is designed to accommodate more visitors and maximize the hotel’s full capacity, further boosting its reach and operations.

Further, the university also launched a coffee shop as part of its Research and Development initiatives. This establishment offers a unique experience featuring products from across CSU campuses. Coffee blends from the RIPE Coffee Hub Program take center stage, complemented by dairy (Piat Campus), Cacao Chocolateria (Lasam Campus), and pastries from (Carig Campus).

OIC President Ibañez commended CEO Atty. Carla Sumigad and Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension, Dr. Junel Guzman for their leadership in bringing these projects to life. He expressed his pride in the milestones achieved by CSU Andrews and highlighted the potential of these new facilities to generate revenue and further enhance the campus offerings.
