CSU SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES INSTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION

Cagayan State University (CSU) has successfully completed its accreditation process with the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) today, January 16, 2025. The rigorous evaluation began on January 13 and culminated in an exit program held at the CSU Claude Andrews Convention Center.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Mariden Cauilan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, expressed gratitude to the accreditors for sharing their expertise with the university. Further, Dr. Milabel Ho, AACCUP lead accreditor, commended CSU for its commitment and professionalism and highlighted the dedication to excellence that the team has exemplified during the review.

Meanwhile, OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez pledged CSU’s continued pursuit of academic quality and thanked the accreditation teams for their relentless efforts. “CSU promises to commit, with all its available resources, and by the power vested in me, to reach new heights and excel further in the areas of academics, research and extension, and all areas of bringing quality education,” he said further expressing his gratitude to the Vice Presidents and accreditation teams of Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus and Cagayan State University - Carig Campus for executing a job well done.

The institutional accreditation status will be officially granted by AACCUP upon the approval of the accreditors' initial report.
