CSU SIGNS MOA WITH NCCA FOR IBANAG KANTORIT PROJECT

Cagayan State University (CSU), led by OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), headed by Executive Director Dr. Eric B. Zerrudo, to digitally produce and popularize Ibanag music and culture on February 4, 2024.

Under the agreement, the NCCA allocated PHP 300,000 to the CSU Carig Campus - College of Human Kinetics for its project titled "Digital Production and Popularization of Ibanag Kantorit."

Recognized as a significant initiative, the project aims to promote and preserve Philippine culture and the arts in line with Republic Act 7356.
