DA-YEH UNIVERSITY OFFICIALS VISIT CSU TO DISCUSS KEY PROGRAMS FOR COLLABORATION

Officials from Da-Yeh University in Taiwan visited Cagayan State University today, February 10, 2024, to explore potential international collaborations following the Memorandum of Understanding signed by both institutions in May 2024.

During the meeting, CSU showcased two key programs for collaboration: the NEXUS Summit, presented by Dr. Ana Marie C. Cauilan, Vice President for Internationalization and Resource Mobilization, and the English Summer Camp Program for college instructors, discussed by Dr. Jomel B. Manuel, Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. In turn, Da-Yeh University introduced their program which offers scholarships for Masteral and Doctorate students.

The delegation from Da-Yeh University was led by Dr. Shi-Jen Yeh, Vice President, and included Dr. Shi-Chieh Lee, Dean of the Office of Foreign Affairs; Dr. Hsuan Lun Lu, Director of the Center for International Affairs; along with several professors and staff members.

CSU’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mariden Ventura Cauilan, along with university deans, academic directors, coordinators, and select graduating students from engineering and food technology, were also present at the meeting. OIC President Arthur Ibanez expressed his strong support for this initiative and emphasized the importance of finalizing a Memorandum of Agreement to solidify the academic collaboration.
