CSU OIC PRESIDENT IBAÑEZ DECLARES UNIVERSITY MEET 2025 OPEN

RAIN OR SHINE. Cagayan State University (CSU) OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez officially opened the University Meet 2025 on February 18, 2025, at CSU Piat Campus.

With the theme “Championing Strength and Unity,” the event will see CSU’s 9 campuses competing in various sports and sociocultural activities, with winners advancing to the Cagayan Valley Regional Association of State Universities and Colleges (CaVRASUC) competitions.

Around 1,000 students from CSU Piat Campus welcomed university officials, campus executive officers, delegates, coaches, and visitors with their cultural dance exhibitions.

Distinguished guests, including CSU Board of Regents members—Hon. Dionisio Ledres Jr., Hon. Carmelo Villacete, Hon. Joseph Lara, ably represented by his wife, Dr. Zarah Lara, Hon. Loreto Pacay, Hon. Ricardo Casauay, and Hon. John Lester Jaime—as well as representatives from LGU Piat, graced the event.

The University Meet runs until February 21, 2025, bringing together CSUans in a showcase of athleticism and cultural excellence.
