CSU HONORS RT TOPNOTCHERS AND PASSERS, AWARDS ₱695,000 CASH INCENTIVES

The Cagayan State University - College of Allied Health Sciences (CSU - CAHS) proudly paraded its latest feat today, February 24, celebrating its 25 national topnotchers and 100% passing rate (139/139) in the February 2025 Respiratory Therapy Licensure Examination (RTLE).

In recognition of their outstanding performance, the university granted a total of ₱695,000 cash incentives to the topnotchers - ₱45,000 (Top 2), ₱40,000 (Top 3), ₱35,000 (Top 4), ₱30,000 (Top 5), and ₱25,000 (Top 6-10).

This marks the seventh (7th) consecutive time that CSU’s Respiratory Therapy program has achieved a 100% institutional passing rate, further strengthening its status as the Top 1 Performing School for Respiratory Therapy in the Philippines.

Meanwhile, during the testimonial program, OIC President Arthur G. Ibanez encouraged the passers to pursue further studies at the CSU - College of Medicine and Surgery, assuring them that the university is well-equipped with facilities to support their growth and help them achieve their goals. He likewise congratulated them, stating, "We are beyond proud of each one of you. May this achievement open greater doors for your future."

The testimonial program for Batch Hayag-Tala followed the parade, held at the CSU Andrews Gymnasium. The event was attended by the newly registered respiratory therapists, their proud parents, university officials, and CAHS faculty, staff, and students.
