CSU STRENGTHENS ACADEMIC PUBLISHING WITH NBDB CERTIFICATION RENEWAL

Cagayan State University (CSU) has renewed its status as a Registered Publisher for both print and online formats for the third consecutive time.

Valid until April 30, 2026, the National Book Development Board (NBDB) granted the certification signed by NBDB Executive Director Charisse Aquino-Tugade, in accordance with Republic Act No. 8047, or the Book Publishing Industry Development Act.

This recognition allows CSU to publish books, journals, learning materials, and other academic resources. It also gives the university access to apply for International Standard Book Numbers (ISBN) and International Standard Serial Numbers (ISSN) from the National Library of the Philippines.

CSU continues to produce publications authored by faculty, students, and researchers, supporting its core functions of Instruction, Research, Extension, and Production. It has also conducted workshops to help faculty and students understand the publishing process.
