CSU HOLDS 2025 BEST UNDERGRADUATE THESIS AND MENTOR AWARDS

Cagayan State University (CSU) successfully conducted the 2025 Search for Best Undergraduate Thesis and Best Mentor Awards at the CSU Claude Andrews Convention Center, gathering student researchers and faculty advisers from across all campuses to present innovative academic outputs, June 16.

With the theme “Attaining Sustainable Development Goals through Policy and Technology Solutions,” the event featured parallel sessions in Experimental, Technological, and Social Research categories, evaluated by panels of experts from various institutions and agencies.

The panel of evaluators for Session A – Experimental Category included Dr. Florentina S. Dumlao (CSU), Mr. Josef Arikha C. Bañares (DA RF02), and Dr. Victor B. Perlas Jr. (DOST). For Session B – Technological Category, the judges were Dr. Emma L. Ballad (BFAR R02), Dr. Ariel M. Lorenzo (USL-CERTI), and Engr. Gerardo L. Catolos. Meanwhile, Session C – Social Category was assessed by Atty. Mark S. Pagulayan (DEPDev), Dr. Lilia Tamayao (UCV), and Dr. Josephine D. Lorica (SPUP).

The search is organized by the Office of the Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension, in collaboration with the Offices of the University Directors for Research and Development, Extension, Knowledge and Technology Management, and Publication, and the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
