Two members of the Cagayan State University (CSU) community were named Regional Winners in the 2025 Search for Outstanding Government Workers by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office II.
Director Dionisio C. Ledres, Jr., a member of the CSU Board of Regents and Director IV at the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development, and Nonito B. Pattugalan, Assistant Professor III at CSU–Piat Campus, were both conferred the CSC Pagasa Award (Individual Category).
Said award is conferred to a government employee whose exceptional idea or performance has directly benefited multiple government agencies, demonstrating wide-reaching impact and excellence in public service.
Meanwhile, their nominations along with other regional awardees in different categories have been officially endorsed to the National Honor Awards Program Secretariat and will advance to the national level of the search.
The annual search is part of the CSC’s Honor Awards Program, which aims to recognize government workers who demonstrate outstanding work performance, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Congratulations and Mabuhay! Your CSU family stands proudly behind you. Wishing you both continued success and all the best in the National Search!
