To strengthen its commitment to fairness, professionalism, and respect within the academic community, the Cagayan State University (CSU) held an orientation on the administrative and quasi-judicial functions of the Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) at the Central Administration Conference Hall, August 26.
Resource Person and University Consultant Fr. Ranhilio C. Aquino discussed the roles and responsibilities of CODI under the Anti-Sexual Harassment Law, the Safe Spaces Act, the Revised Rules on Administrative Cases in Civil Service (RRACS), and CHED Memorandum Order No. 3, series of 2022.
With the theme “The Decorum Imperative: Defining and Upholding Professional Conduct,” the seminar gathered key university officials, including Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Mariden V. Cauilan, representing OIC University President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez; CODI Chairperson and Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Theresa B. Dimalanta; University GAD Director Melvin Mora; Campus GAD Focal Persons; and CODI members.
CODI is an institutional body mandated in higher education institutions tasked to uphold integrity, accountability, and order in the resolution of administrative and disciplinary matters.
