CSU ALUMNI AND PERSONNEL GROUPS TURN OVER ₱266,000 IN DONATIONS FOR CALAYAN EXTENSION CAMPUS

Various alumni and personnel groups of Cagayan State University (CSU) turned over today, October 3, a total of ₱266,000 in donations to CEO Rodel Francisco Alegado in support of the Calayan Extension Campus, one of the hardest hit by Typhoon Nando when it made landfall on September 23. The typhoon left campus facilities and surrounding communities in urgent need of assistance.

The donations came from different sectors of the CSU community, including Federated Alumni Associations of CSU, led by President and BOR Member Atty. Carmelo Villacete – ₱100,000, Andrews Campus Alumni Association, headed by Dr. Nestor Ave – ₱20,000, CSU Administrative Personnel Association (APA), led by Ms. Monaliza Guzman – ₱36,000, Carig Alumni Association, led by Engr. Audy Quebral – ₱100,000, and Gonzaga Alumni Association, headed by Dr. Louie Sunico – ₱10,000 contribution included in the collective donation.

In addition, the Andrews Campus Alumni Association also extended ₱20,000 in aid to Barangay Babuyan Claro, one of the most severely devastated barangays in Calayan Island.
