The Cagayan State University - College of Teacher Education (CTED) officially opened its new office facilities on October 8, 2025, located on the second floor, right wing of the Athena Building. The new offices provide wider and more functional spaces designed to enhance administrative efficiency and faculty operations.
Dr. Chita G. Ramos, Dean of CTED, expressed optimism that the new offices will inspire continued excellence and growth. “This marks not just the renewal of our physical space but also a fresh beginning for our college,” she said.
Campus Executive Officer Atty. Carla Marie L. Sumigad thanked the central administration for its consistent support, saying, “These new offices would not have been possible without the leadership and assistance of our OIC President and vice presidents.”
In his message, Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez reiterated the administration’s commitment to support all colleges and offices, emphasizing that “it is the duty of the central administration to provide for your needs,” adding that every effort of the university is ultimately directed toward the welfare and development of students.
Former University President Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado, who also graced the event, commended the administration’s strategic leadership and its capacity to transform ideas into meaningful initiatives.
The inauguration was attended by OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Mariden V. Cauilan, Vice President for Finance and Administration Dr. Theresa B. Dimalanta, former University President Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado, and CEO Atty. Carla Marie L. Sumigad.
