Twenty faculty members and students from Cagayan State University have successfully completed the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar and were subsequently issued their Authority to Travel on October 17, 2025, as part of their preparation for the UiTM Cultural Exchange Program in Malaysia.
Conducted by the Office of the Vice President for Internationalization, Partnership and Resource Mobilization, the PDOS oriented delegates on safety and security measures, cultural and social adaptation, UiTM policies, the CSU Code of Conduct Abroad and legal and risk management guidelines. Participants also accomplished and submitted all required travel documents as part of the University’s compliance and due diligence process.
The Authority to Travel, signed by OIC University President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, formally endorses the participation of the CSU delegation in the international program, affirming the University’s commitment to student and faculty mobility under its internationalization framework.
Through programs like this, CSU continues to strengthen its internationalization efforts in support of the ACHIEVE Agenda of CHED Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, reaffirming the University’s commitment to internationalization through faculty and student mobility.
