CSU, TELENTA GLOBAL SEAL MOU TO STRENGTHEN RESOURCE MOBILIZATION PARTNERSHIPS

Cagayan State University has formalized its partnership with Telenta Global Holdings Corporation through a Memorandum of Understanding centered on expanding resource mobilization efforts to support community engagement, sustainable livelihood initiatives, training, education and campus development. The collaboration aligns with OIC President Arthur G. Ibanez’s strategic direction to fully harness CSU’s land assets and human resources for institutional growth.

Dr. Jack Wong, Head Director of Telenta Global, said the partnership advances the advocacy of his father, the late Vicente A. Wong—an advocacy upheld through the VAW Leadership Forum, Telenta’s social responsibility arm. He noted that he is extending this legacy to CSU while building his own path of service and community empowerment through meaningful, impact-driven partnership with CSU.

During the multi-campus visit, VP for Internationalization, Partnership and Resource Mobilization Dr. Ana Marie Cristina C. Cauilan led discussions with CEOs and campus officials, presenting CSU’s niche projects, resource capacities and potential areas for collaboration. Dr. Wong expressed admiration for the innovations across CSU’s nine campuses and commended President Ibanez’s leadership in effectively managing and developing a multi-campus system each with a unique niche program.

He emphasized that Telenta aims to pursue campus-specific MOAs to support CSU’s core functions in instruction, research, extension and production, ensuring that resource mobilization efforts translate into broader community impact.

The partnership is expected to open industry-driven opportunities in skills development, enterprise-based training and livelihood enhancement—strengthening CSU’s resource base and benefiting students and other stakeholders.
