CSU SIGNS MOU WITH UZBEK MINISTRY OF PRESCHOOL AND SCHOOL EDUCATION

November 26, 2025 – Cagayan State University (CSU) led by OIC President Arthur G. Ibañez, has formally entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan represented by Head Ministry Ms. Shaklo Rakhmonovna Terimova, to strengthen cooperation in the field of education.

The MOU establishes a framework for cooperation between the two parties, encompassing joint events, expertise exchange, faculty and student mobility, training programs, internships, and other collaborative activities in accordance with the respective laws of the Philippines and Uzbekistan. Under the agreement, CSU will also provide qualified English-language teachers for deployment in Uzbekistan, with candidates mutually approved in advance.

The MOU, which will be led by the CSU College of Teacher Education and the Alumni Relations and Placement Services, provides a platform for building sustainable educational partnerships, promoting cultural exchange, and global competence among students and faculty of both institutions.
