Cagayan State University (CSU) officially commenced this year’s ISO certification process, welcoming auditors from TÜV NORD Philippines today, December 9, 2025.
The opening program, led by OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, was attended by the University Vice Presidents, Campus Executive Officers, and other office heads from the nine campuses and the central administration.
Joining them in person were Audit Team Leader Mr. Ivan Felix Herrera at the CSU Andrews Conference Hall, and team members Mr. Richard Bacomo and Ms. Axly Rose Florentino in Gonzaga, while the rest of the audit team participated remotely.
Looking forward to the opportunities that accompany the accreditation, CSU affirms its full commitment to aligning its various deliverables with ISO standards.
Dr. Ibañez highlighted that the certification reflects the university’s broader vision of making an international impact: “This is not only our institution’s step in our ongoing journey to strengthen our quality management system; it also reflects our stride toward meeting international quality benchmarks, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering continuous improvement.”
Having undergone various accreditations and quality assessments in previous years, the University is confident in its rigorous preparations, an assurance grounded in its steady growth and its collective commitment to quality standards.
The nine campuses and central administration offices are scheduled for accreditation to evaluate their management systems, review actions taken from previous audit findings, and verify their compliance with organizational, customer, and other relevant requirements.
