CSU RECOMMENDED FOR ISO 9001:2015 RECERTIFICATION AFTER SUCCESSFUL AUDIT

Cagayan State University (CSU) has been recommended for ISO 9001:2015 recertification by TÜV NORD Philippines, Inc., reflecting the strength and consistency of its Quality Management System in delivering quality education and reliable frontline and support services.

The recommendation was announced during the closing meeting today, following thorough audits conducted on December 9–10 and 15–17, 2025, across selected colleges and offices in CSU’s nine campuses.

Lead Auditor Mr. Ivan Felix Herrera shared the audit team’s findings, recognizing effective practices while also identifying areas where improvements can still be made.

OIC University President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez commended the University vice presidents, campus executive officers, process owners, and implementers for their commitment to quality, and to TÜV NORD Philippines, Inc., along with its competent auditors. He stressed that the audit results serve as a guide for making meaningful and lasting improvements across the University.

For her part, Dr. Theresa B. Dimalanta, Vice President for Administration and Finance, called on all units to immediately address the audit recommendations. She highlighted the need for regular internal reviews and training to maintain compliance and strengthen CSU’s culture of quality and continuous improvement.
