Cagayan State University (CSU) posted an outstanding performance in the September and November 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), with eight campuses recording passing rates higher than the national averages for both elementary and secondary levels.
CSU Aparri earned a place among the Top 8 performing schools nationwide with an institutional rate of 89.52% (94/105), based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on December 18.
Adding pride to the University’s achievement, CSU produced four national topnotchers. From CSU Andrews, Jobert Pagulayan Bancud and Ivy Abuzo Pascua both ranked Top 7, while Domingo Gammad Calebag, Jr. placed Top 10, all graduates of the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. From CSU Aparri, Jericha A. Pedronan, a Bachelor of Elementary Education graduate, earned a Top 10 ranking.
For first-time takers at the elementary level, CSU achieved a 73.81% passing rate (303 out of 343), significantly higher than the 51.04% national passing rate. At the secondary level, the University registered an 81.92% passing rate (683 out of 773) for first-time takers, exceeding the 72.63% national average.
