Cagayan State University (CSU), led by OIC President Arthur G. Ibañez, turned over two (2) certificates of Level III Institutional Re-Accreditation for the Andrews and Carig campuses, alongside 47 certificates of program accreditation to the different campuses at various levels during the expanded Executive and Management Committee Meeting.
The certificates were conferred by the National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies (NNQAA), Inc., upon the recommendation of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), following a comprehensive technical review based on national accreditation standards.
NNQAA awarded the certificates during its 2nd Annual Summit held at the Heritage Hotel, Manila, from March 5–7, 2026. Receiving the recognition on behalf of the university were Quality Assurance Director Dr. Maridy Calanoga and Andrews Campus QA Coordinator Dr. Shelly Pascual.
Established by the Commission on Higher Education, NNQAA Inc. serves as the Philippines' primary umbrella organization for certifying that government educational institutions and professional associations meet rigorous accreditation and quality assurance standards.
