A historic milestone unfolds today, May 15, 2026, as Cagayan State University – Solana Campus celebrates the graduation of its first 236 pioneering graduates.
Cagayan State University garnered impressive results in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), producing three national topnotchers and surpassing the national passing rate in Elementary Education among first-time takers.
Leading the university’s outstanding performance are the following national topnotchers from CSU Andrews Campus, Ms. Hazel P. Jose, LPT – Top 5 with 94.20%, Mr. Kane Q. Buncad, LPT – Top 8 with 93.60%, and Mr. Angelo B. Dela Cuesta, LPT – Top 9 with 93.40%
Among the campuses, CSU Lal-lo and CSU Lasam both achieved a perfect 100% passing rate in Secondary Education, while CSU Aparri, CSU Gonzaga, and CSU Sanchez Mira recorded a 100% passing rate in Elementary Education.
CSU Carig also posted a remarkable 87.95% passing rate in Secondary Education with 146 passers out of 166 examinees, while CSU Andrews registered 83.33% in Elementary Education and 87.27% in Secondary Education.

Cagayan State University – Sanchez Mira Campus celebrates its 48th Academic Convocation for the Conferment of Degrees and Titles today, May 13, 2026, producing 923 graduates from its graduate and undergraduate programs, while the Calayan Extension Campus is set to produce its 40 pioneering graduates on June 3, 2026.
Cagayan State University - Sanchez Mira Campus, led by CEO Dr. Rodel Francisco T. Alegado, held a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of the Le Falco Cafe Executive Lounge today, May 13, 2026. The event was graced by OIC President Dr. Arthur G.
