CSU Aparri Campus concludes its 48th Commencement Exercises this afternoon, May 29, 2026, producing a total of 1,339 graduates for Academic Year 2025–2026.
Cagayan State University student-athletes delivered an impressive performance in the 2026 Pro Active Robinsons Mall Tour Invitational Arnis Tournament conducted on May 23, 2026, at Robinsons Mall, Tuguegarao City.
The competition featured 14 participating clubs and organizations from across the region, including delegates from Kalinga and Apayao.
CSU athletes earned several medals in both padded and livestick categories. Gold medalists were Jaerone Ishmael (Andrews Campus), Julios Divinagracia (CIT), and Teoveil Templonuevo (CHASS).
Silver medal winners included Shawn Cachuela, Carl Joseph Fernando, Arsenio Verzon, Ronald Cabaruan, and James Bacud from CHK, Calvin Jan Baisa from CIT, and Red-ej Dumaua from CSU Piat Campus.
Bronze medalists were Aiyo Gonzales of CPAD, Willen Castillo and incoming freshman Clifford Lumboy of CHK, along with Julios Divinagracia, Teoveil Templonuevo, and James Bacud in the livestick category.
The CSU delegation was coached by Dr. Jay-R Bayani and Mr. Mark Jordan Dollente.

Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis arrived in Tuguegarao City this afternoon, May 28, 2026, and was warmly welcomed by Cagayan State University (CSU) led by Officer-In-Charge President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, together with members of the Board of Regents, university and campus officials, and CHED Regional Office 02 officials.
The 48th Commencement Exercises of CSU Carig Campus officially culminate this afternoon, May 27, 2026, producing a total of 2,850 graduates from various disciplines and professions.
