Strengthening its international initiatives, Cagayan State University entered a Memorandum of Understanding with Holland University Canada yesterday, January 29, 2024. This collaboration marks CSU's second venture into partnerships with international institutions of higher learning in North America.
Holland College is an education provider located in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island, offering various programs to aspirants across the globe. The college currently holds over 150 agreements with partner universities worldwide that ensure a high employment rate, making it a great choice for international students as it can help its graduates land jobs after graduation.
Under the understanding signed, CSU and Holland college shall cooperate within the framework of their respective mandates in the joint implementation of education and research, faculty and student training, exchange of faculty and students, exchange of scholarly materials and information, and collaboration in conferences, colloquia, and fora.
During the virtual signing, Dr. Alexander MacDonald, President and CEO of Holland College, and CSU President Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado confidently expressed their commitment to the successful implementation of the MOU.
Witnessing the signing ceremony with the CSU President were Dr. Giged T. Battung, VP for IPRM, Engr. Arthur G. Ibanes – CEO of Carig Campus, Prof. Ramon Henry O. Kanapi – CEO of Andrews Campus, Engr. Ma. Haidee Mabborang – CEO of Solana Campus, Engr. Policarpio Mabborang – CEO of Lallo campus, Prof. Kristinne Joyce A. Lara – Director for Domestic and International Partnership, Prof. Judy B. Luyun – CSU Hotel Administrator, and Ms. Jolene Chan from Holland College.
