Six students from Cagayan State University are set to travel to Singapore to attend the National University of Singapore-Asian Undergraduate Symposium 2024.
They are, Fernando F. Calabarzon (BS Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering), Janah Patricia D. Albano (AB communication), Trixie Joy B. Gano (BS Biology), Jarren G. Quegan (BS Computer Science), Niña Katrina D. Matammu (BS Biology), and Jianel B. Alfaro (BA Communication).
The selected students come from various fields of study including Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering, Communication, Biology and Computer Science.
The Asian Undergraduate Symposium is a prestigious two-week programme that aims to bring together undergraduates from Singapore and various Asian regions for cultural exchange, networking and capacity development. The symposium has a special focus on ASEAN participants, making it a valuable opportunity for the CSU students to interact with their peers from across the region.
The University is proud of the students’ achievement and wishes them all the best for their participation in the symposium. The students will be accompanied by Vice President for Partnership and Resource Mobilization Giged Battung and Director for Internationalization Kristinne Lara, ensuring they have a smooth and enriching experience during their time in Singapore.
The students are excited for this unique opportunity to learn and grow alongside their peers from different backgrounds and cultures. This experience is sure to broaden their horizons and provide them with valuable skills and knowledge for their future endeavors
