CSC AWARDS CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION FOR COLLECTIVE NEGOTIATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN CSU – APA AND CSU CARIG ADMIN

Today, July 22, 2024, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has officially awarded the Certificate of Registration for the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) between the Cagayan State University - Administrative Personnel Association (CSU-APA) and the CSU Administration – Carig Campus effective from May 15, 2024, to May 14, 2027.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 180 (1987) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, the agreement has met all prescribed requirements and is now officially binding between the CSU administration and CSU-APA. Signed by Atty. Karlo A. B. Nograles, Chairperson, and attested by Director Ma. Theresa C. Fernandez, the Certificate of Registration was awarded by CSC Region 02 Chief Human Resource Specialist Jovy Miguel to CSU during the monthly Execom-Mancom meeting of the university held in Carig Campus.

The registration of CNA brings several key benefits including protection from challenges to accreditation and no certification elections outside the freedom period to ensure stability and clarity in the collective negotiation process, contributing to a more harmonious and effective working environment at CSU.
