CSU STRENGTHENS COLLABORATION WITH CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION IN PURSUIT OF PRIME-HRM LEVEL II

Cagayan State University (CSU), under the leadership of OIC President Arthur G. Ibanez, is actively working towards achieving Maturity Level II in all four pillars of the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).

As part of this effort, CSU recently strengthened its collaboration with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) through a conference with the CSC Internal Audit Service.

Director Elnora B. Gotis from the CSC Central Office led the session, providing crucial technical assistance in meeting the documentary and procedural requirements stated in CSC memorandum circulars for PRIME-HRM. The discussion also included internal audit findings related to HR management practices of CSU this year.

The university was recognized in 2021 for its achievements under the Performance Management pillar. Led by Fr. Ranhilio C. Aquino, the PRIME-HRM Committee of the university continues to update and submit the necessary documentation to the CSC Regional Office No. 02.

CSU remains committed to enhancing its human resource management system to meet the standards required for State Universities and Colleges (SUC) leveling.
