DOT HONORS CAGAYAN STATE UNIVERSITY FOR KEY ROLE IN ADVANCING FILIPINO SERVICE EXCELLENCE

The Department of Tourism (DOT) awarded two plaques of appreciation to Cagayan State University (CSU) led by OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez this afternoon, October 28, 2024.

Presented by Department of Tourism - Region 2 Office Regional Director Troy Alexander Miano, the plaques — signed by DOT Secretary Ma. Esperanza Christina Garcia Frasco and RD Miano — celebrate CSU’s exemplary support and significant contribution to the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Program for Fiscal Year 2023. This initiative successfully trained over 100,000 tourism frontliners across the Philippines, advancing service quality and professionalism in the tourism sector.
