CSU MARKS 8TH MIDTERM ACADEMIC CONVOCATION WITH 416 NEW GRADUATES

Cagayan State University conferred degrees and titles upon its 416 students university-wide during its 8th Midterm Academic Convocation today, January 8, 2026, at the CSU–Carig Red Eagle Gymnasium.

In his Charge, OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez reminded graduates that education comes with responsibility, to God, to the nation, and to the communities they will serve, urging them to live out integrity, compassion, and excellence in their professions.

In his Message of Thanks, Mr. Kenneth L. Bacud, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering graduate from the College of Engineering and Architecture, emphasized that CSU did not promise comfort but preparation, forging midyear graduates through discipline and high standards to uphold integrity, responsibility, and excellence beyond the University.

Meanwhile, the graduates came from various CSU campus: Carig with 326 graduates, Andrews with 44, Sanchez Mira with 21, Lallo with 10, Aparri with 5, Gonzaga with 3, Piat with 3, and Lasam with 1 graduate.
