46 FACULTY, STAFF TAKE OATH AS CSU WELCOMES NEWLY HIRED AND PROMOTED PERSONNEL

Cagayan State University (CSU) welcomed newly hired and promoted faculty members and administrative personnel from across its campuses through an oath-taking ceremony held on January 16, 2025.

The ceremony covered 46 personnel, including 29 faculty members and 17 administrative staff, with four promotional appointments from the Central Administration recently approved by the CSU Board of Regents, who will take their oath at a later date.

In his message, OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez emphasized that CSU values qualifications, potential, and institutional needs in its appointment process. He called on the honorees to show loyalty to the University, respect leadership, follow lawful directives, and support academic and administrative programs.

Dr. Ibañez emphasized adherence to ethical standards, responsible stewardship of university resources, and unity within the CSU system. He reminded personnel that being part of CSU means moving in one direction as a single organization.

The OIC President also expressed confidence in the University’s trajectory, describing 2024 as a good year, 2025 as a better year, and projecting 2026 as CSU’s best year.

Meanwhile, Vice President Dr. Mariden V. Cauilan and Chief Administrative Officer Ramon Henry Peregrino O. Kanapi congratulated the honorees and encouraged them to deliver excellence and professionalism in their respective roles as they live up to the trust reposed in them.
