A total of 528 faculty members and students across the campuses of Cagayan State University (CSU) participated in an online Orientation on NVivo and Inspera Tools on January 28, 2026, aimed at strengthening research competence and digital literacy across the institution.
The program supports CSU’s policy framework on research integrity and the ethical use of artificial intelligence, addressing the growing need for the responsible adoption of digital research technologies.
OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez described the orientation as a step toward building a research ecosystem grounded in ethical scholarship and technological readiness. He emphasized that improved research capability contributes to stronger publications, enhanced collaboration, and increased institutional recognition.
The orientation featured Dr. Nicamil K. Sanchez, CEO of the Philippine Consortium for Social Welfare and Human Development Research, Inc., as the resource speaker.
NVivo, a software designed for qualitative and mixed-methods data analysis, and Inspera, a secure digital platform focused on assessment and academic integrity, serve as key tools in promoting transparent, rigorous, and accountable research practices.
