CSU RELAUNCHES ATHENA HOTEL, ENHANCES CAMPUS HOSPITALITY SERVICES

Cagayan State University (CSU) relaunched the improved Athena Hotel at Andrews Campus on February 4, 2026, supporting the university’s drive to expand hands-on hospitality education and sustainable enterprise initiatives.

Aside from affordable lodging, the facility offers meeting venues such as the Hestia Boardroom and Hermes Hall, dining services through Athena Deli and Restaurant, catering packages, and scheduled buffet offerings. It also caters to private events and photoshoots, expanding its service to the wider community.

CSU Andrews CEO Terence A. Tejada noted that the hotel plays a dual role—serving guests while providing students with practical learning experiences in hospitality operations.

Meanwhile, in her message of support and affirmation, Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado expressed her gratitude to OIC President Arthur G. Ibañez and highlighted the importance of collaboration, strong leadership support, and a culture of integrity and excellence in sustaining university projects such as the Athena Hotel.
