CSU WELCOMES NEW AND RETURNING STUDENTS FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2026–2027

Cagayan State University (CSU) officially welcomed new and returning students across its campuses as Academic Year 2026–2027 formally opened through the University's traditional “Salubong” celebration, June 22, 2026.

In his video message, Officer-in-Charge University President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez greeted both new and returning students, emphasizing that CSU remains committed to nurturing future leaders, innovators, professionals, and nation-builders through quality and inclusive education.

"Your success remains our priority. Every program, initiative, and service we provide is designed to help you achieve your goals and prepare you for a meaningful future," Dr. Ibañez said.

To ensure a smooth transition into university life, the different campuses organized a variety of activities, including orientation programs, campus tours, student engagement activities, and information sessions.

These initiatives aim to familiarize students with university services, academic policies, campus facilities, and support systems while promoting a sense of belonging within the CSU community.

The annual Salubong serves as CSU's enduring tradition of warmly welcoming its student body as they embark on another year of learning, growth, discovery, and excellence. #TatakCSU
