Cagayan State University (CSU) strengthened its academic quality portfolio after multiple programs received re-accreditation from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), with validity until October 2029-2030.
The Carig Campus’ BS in Civil Engineering and BS in Industrial Technology were both awarded Level IV re-accreditation. The technology program covers several specializations, including Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Drafting, Fashion and Apparel, and HVAC Technology.
Meanwhile, the BS in Industrial and Commercial Communication (Carig Campus) and the Bachelor of Elementary Education major in General Education at Lasam Campus were granted Level III re-accreditation.
AACCUP accreditation assesses programs based on faculty qualifications, curriculum, research productivity, extension services, facilities, and student support systems.
