Cagayan State University (CSU), in partnership with the Association of International Dynamic Educators, Inc. (AIDE), successfully hosted the Balik Saliksik International Academic and Extension Colloquium at the CSU Andrews Convention Center, June 26, 2026.
The colloquium brought together international scholars and educators, including Dr. Melreta Mai Herring, Ms. Brenda Holmes, Mr. Byogah Jefferson, and Dr. Emmanuel Lambon, who shared insights on authentic educational leadership, classical learning in the classroom, information technology integration in education and governance, and mental health among occupationally exposed groups.
The first day concluded with a cultural presentation, fellowship, and the conferment of AIDE Author Citation Awards to CSU faculty researchers whose scholarly works were published in the AIDE Interdisciplinary Research Journal and indexed in Google Scholar.
Meanwhile, simultaneous activities continued on June 27, 2026, including the continuation of the international research colloquium and the community extension programs at Namabbalan Integrated School and Annafunan Integrated School in Tuguegarao City.
Through the Balik Saliksik initiative, CSU continues to strengthen international collaboration, interdisciplinary research, and community-responsive extension programs that contribute to sustainable local and global development.
