IN PHOTOS || Cagayan State University, led by OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, engaged Diponegoro University (UNDIP), Indonesia, in an inception meeting aimed at identifying potential areas for academic and research collaboration, October 5, 2026.

UNDIP was represented by its Director for Global Engagement, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hadiyanto, who presented the university’s programs and institutional strengths. Dr. Ibañez likewise presented Cagayan State University and its areas of ex...pertise and niche programs.

Among the proposed areas of collaboration are joint research and publications, student exchange and internships, joint degrees, short courses, and institutional benchmarking.

The discussion also highlighted Cagayan State University’s Electromobility Research and Development Center (EMRDC) and fisheries initiatives as areas of interest for possible knowledge exchange and collaboration with UNDIP.

The meeting sets the stage for further discussions toward a mutually beneficial CSU-UNDIP partnership.
