The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), led by Secretary Henry R. Aguda, conducted a site visit for the Free Public Internet Access Program at Cagayan State University Andrews Campus on July 15, 2026.

Joining Secretary Aguda were Assistant Secretary for Special Concerns, Asec. Christian Mark G. Guingcangco, Assistant Secretary for e-Government, Asec. Maria Victoria C. Castro, and Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Management and DICT 02 Regional Director Engr. Pinky T. Jimenez.

Cagayan State University officials headed by Campus Executive Officer Engr. Roger Rumpon representing Officer-In-Charge Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, welcomed the delegation before touring selected campus facilities and the university's public Wi-Fi site.

The visit concluded with an engagement activity with students, highlighting the continued collaboration between Cagayan State University and DICT in expanding access to free internet services on campus
