A graduate of Bachelor of Library and Information Science of Cagayan State University–Carig Campus emerged as one of the country’s top-performing examinees, securing 9th place nationwide with an outstanding 91.25% rating in the September 2026 Librarian Computer-Based Licensure Examination.

Mr. Jake Mendoza Calantas’ remarkable performance leads Cagayan State University’s latest achievement in the licensure examination, where 58 of 62 CSU examinees successfully passed, giving the University a 93.55% institutional passing rate and placing CSU among the Top 5 Performing Schools nationwide.

Cagayan State University’s performance likewise surpassed the 74.95% national passing rate, with 760 out of 1,014 examinees passing the examination.
