Cagayan State University (CSU) warmly welcomed its international partners from Maryland, USA, the officers and members of the Association of International Dynamic Educators, Inc. (AIDE), led by its founder and CEO, Dr. Lyn A. Ciocon for an international research and extension colloquium. Joining them is CESB Chair and AIDE Inc. Executive Vice President for Professional Development, Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado.

Organized by the CSU Graduate School in collaboration with AIDE Inc., the BalikSaliksik International Research and Extension Colloquium blends academic learning with community service. Running from June 24–27, 2026, the four-day event features research presentations, expert lectures, and community initiatives, including medical and dental missions, nutrition education, and school-based interventions.

Upon their arrival, the delegation visited CSU Carig for a brief welcome program, followed by a campus tour aboard the innovative electric vehicles developed by the campus’ Electromobility Research and Development Center (EMRDC). They also toured the Food Innovation Center (FIC) before heading to the Central Administration for a courtesy call at the Office of the University President at the CSU Andrews Campus.

Tomorrow, the AIDE delegation is scheduled to visit CSU Lal-lo and CSU Gonzaga to explore the Coffee Hub, the Mangrove and Bamboo Research and Innovation Center (MABRIC), and the Bamboo Sanctuary.
