Cagayan State University (CSU) led by Officer-In-Charge Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez and Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ) spearheaded by Officer-in-Charge Prof. Ma'mun Murod formalized a Memorandum of Understanding on June 24, 2026.

Signed in Jakarta, Indonesia, the agreement open opportunities for collaboration in academic exchange, research, extension, curriculum development, and capacity-building initiatives.

Under the partnership, both universities will explore faculty and student mobility programs, joint research projects and publications, collaborative conferences and trainings, and other academic endeavors designed to promote innovation and global learning.
