This 60-hectare nipa rehabilitation area in Bisagu, Aparri has
been planted with 75,000 nipa seedlings. Once the area is
fully restored, this will be a great source of nipa shingles
and the fisherfolks will no longer need to rent from private
owners of nipa plantation.
